Amiel Azizollahi

Amiel A. Azizollahi is the managing attorney and founder of Equate Law. Mr. Azizollahi is a skilled litigator and has dedicated his entire professional career to high-stakes litigation. Coming from a family of immigrants who were exploited in their attempts to achieve the American dream, Mr. Azizollahi has first-hand experience on how employers and insurance companies take advantage of the everyday person. That is why he has chosen to exclusively represent California employees and victims of property damage against these corporations.

Mr. Azizollahi’s employment law practice includes wage and hour class and representative action litigation, as well as single-plaintiff litigation involving employment discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and wrongful termination claims. His property damage practice includes bad faith litigation as well as first and third party insurance claims involving water, fire, vandalism, theft/burglary, smoke and ash, wind and earthquake damage.

In addition to handling complex litigation, Mr. Azizollahi has extensive experience in real estate transactions, including drafting and negotiating agreements pertaining to the sale and purchase of real property, conducting environmental and title diligence, and reviewing zoning laws.

Prior to becoming an attorney, Mr. Azizollahi attended the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business, where he obtained his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. At UC Berkeley, Mr. Azizollahi was awarded the prestigious Dolores Cerro Scholarship for his academic achievement. Thereafter, he earned his law degree from Loyola Law School in Los Angeles. At Loyola Law, he received first honors in Land-Use and Mediation Advocacy for having received the highest grade in his class in those courses.

While in law school, Mr. Azizollahi also externed for the Honorable Richard L. Fruin, Jr. at the Los Angeles Superior Court, where he assisted with numerous bench and jury trials, courtroom proceedings, and judicial orders involving employment law and property damage actions. He also clerked at numerous well-regarded Los Angeles law firms specializing in employee representation and property damage matters.
